[Diuds and diudettes, spoilers are coming your way. You’ve been warned.]

I enjoyed it. I’ve had an entertaining evening with my BFF even though I got stuck in the train which was not driven by Kareena fortunately when I went back home.

The show started at 3.00 pm and ended around 5.30 pm. There were only two shows available before the official opening. The audience was responsive and nobody got up after the film ended because there was a little making of during the end credits.

The SFX was awesome which was on par with other superhero sci-fi films produced by Hollywood or otherwise (Bollywood, you got that right this time).

The actors have done well in their roles, the bad guy was creepy ass (diud, you were creepy and awesome at the same time but I would not want to get near you even though you took Arjun’s physical appearance), the kid was lovable, the mother was sweet, poignant and me gusta!, the father was sweet, lovable, funny, poignant, trollrific etc, etc…you get the idea (broken Tamil notwithstanding). The bond between the father and the son, the husband and the wife were touching. And the good guy was the GOOD ONE. Supporting roles were adequate, highlights: Akashi (which seemed like a Japanese name but he’s Chinese. Erm…never mind.) and Jenny.

The game itself was a game was a game. A thrilling game at that. The songs picturization was fun and seamlessly intertwined with the plot. Some hilarious (Ra.One - ‘What are you doing, G.one?’  G.One - ‘I don’t know.’) and sad moments (The father was killed).

I like it when a traditional plot of good versus evil being executed well with some philosophies thrown behind it. Check out the Dussehra(sp?) festival and quotes and phrases in the film.

Little nitpicking - the end seemed abrupt, the bad guy was easily terminated and some scenes were unnecessary.

In short, like Raj in Rab Ne Bana De Jodi said and I rephrase: “Superhero, Hindi film style.”

Enjoy the show, don’t get influenced by the media’s reviews, others who have watched the film or even mine because different strokes for
different folks. Watch it with an open mind and don’t leave your brain behind or else the zombies will be having a feast on it. Or Ra.One might want to reprogram it to make you drive a bull cart with high speed.

P.S: LUCIFER, ME GUSTA!

P.P.S: SHEKHAR AND G.ONE, YOU PERVERTS!

P.P.P.S: DON 2 TRAILER ON BIG SCREEN WAS AN AWESOME, AWESOME EXPERIENCE.
